The organization Shaheed Virender Smarak Samiti has been active in the field of education and women empowerment for social change for more than 34 years. Many movements and programs are being run for empowerment of the community such as to enhance education and literacy through libraries. To enhance the scientific temper, democratic values, rational thinking etc. through theatre and dialog. Efforts are being made to empower the women through Self Help Groups and awareness movements.
Most of these activities are organized with the help of the community, whether the financial assistance has been taken from different institutions for some programs. The main contributors of financial help are BGVS-Haryana, MHRD, Wipro Foundation and NABARD.
Long term aims and objectives of SVSS to help in the development of democratic society through education and social awareness activities by evolving ourselves as an institution.
